April 15, 2021 – Boulder, Colorado, USA – Fast Talk Laboratories, the new sport science community and virtual performance center, announces a partnership with INSCYD, the leading remote, protocol-based physiological testing technology. Fast Talk Laboratories now offers INSCYD testing and analysis services for athletes as well as education and support for INSCYD and federation-certified coaches.

INSCYD is a fitness test that athletes can do anywhere in the world, indoors or outside, with a power meter or GPS-enabled sport watch. With this test, cyclists, triathletes, and runners can get lab-grade physiological test results wherever they are, without going to a lab. Athletes can schedule their test, perform the test when it’s convenient for them, and send in their workout data file for analysis and interpretation by our coaches and exercise physiologists.

As part of this partnership, Fast Talk Labs has released new public and member-exclusive content devoted to the understanding and use of INSCYD’s laboratory-validated testing protocol:

For free access to the INSCYD webinar through April 30, join Fast Talk Labs as a free-of-charge Listener Member. INSCYD coaches and federation-certified coaches are invited to apply for Coaching Forum access at fasttalklabs.com.

“I’ve tested athletes in a lab for years, and it is refreshing to see a protocol that allows me to get actionable lab-grade data remotely,” said Fast Talk Labs Head Coach and Physiologist Ryan Kohler. “INSCYD improves my ability to provide coaching guidance to athletes all over the world and know that we’re looking at the same data from a validated protocol.”

INSCYD test results reveal fascinating details about an athlete’s current fitness, physiological profile, and insights into how they can maximize their training. Working with our Head Coach and Physiologist Ryan Kohler, athletes will get lab-grade results for VO2max, VLamax, anaerobic threshold, FatMax, carbohydrate oxidation, as well as analysis of their strengths and weaknesses, and how they rank against their peer group.

“We are extremely excited to be partnering with Fast Talk Labs to offer INSCYD testing,” said Sebastian Weber, Project Lead at INSCYD. “Both our organizations share a similar devotion to the science behind athletic performance. The variety of services Fast Talk Labs is now offering is exciting. We feel it is a great opportunity for both companies and we look forward to their help in supporting all INSCYD coaches.”

Used extensively by professional athletes and WorldTour cycling teams, INSCYD test results have been validated for accuracy against laboratory-grade physiology testing.

Fast Talk Labs now offers Base Testing, Advanced Testing, an INSCYD 4-Pack, and INSCYD 2-Pack to non-members and at special pricing for members. Advanced Testing includes an in-depth interpretation of test results during a personal meeting with our Head Coach Ryan Kohler, plus an individualized approach to train weaknesses and find potential.
