Dr Stephen Seiler, the acclaimed physiologist, is training for Paris-Roubaix!

Okay, not quite, but he did find a Zwift workout that replicates the “sessions” concept that Mat Hayman used to train for Roubaix in 2016.

Famously, Hayman was stuck in his garage mending a broken arm for six weeks prior to his 15th Paris-Roubaix race. He used trainer sessions to reach peak fitness. And then, with 15 years of experience and some good garage sessions, the Australian went to France and took a resounding win.

In this workshop, Dr. Seiler dives into the specifics of this training session and also discusses how to “measure” high-intensity repeatability.
