Julia Johansson is a globally ranked sailor and outdoorswoman with a background in mountaineering research, climate advocacy, and strategic content, currently serving as Content Manager at Fast Talk Labs.
Julia currently serves as content manager at Fast Talk Labs. She is a lifelong athlete with deep-rooted passions in sports performance, science communication, and environmental advocacy. She began her college career at the University of Pennsylvania, where she competed on the Division I varsity sailing team, before transferring to the University of Colorado Boulder, where she earned her B.A. in Environmental Studies and Geography. Her undergraduate research explored the environmental and physiological challenges of high-altitude expeditions on Denali and Mount Kilimanjaro. Julia has built a career at the intersection of sports science, digital marketing, and strategic communications. Prior to Fast Talk, she helped lead and grow a climate-tech education nonprofit, where she oversaw brand development, marketing, partnerships, fundraising and social media strategy. Her work is grounded in both research and real-world experience, aiming to bridge the gap between elite performance science and everyday training.
